When potatoes are done, remove from dish one at a time cleaning off the salt with paper towel. Lightly smash potato with your hand (punch). Place punched potatoes in the Pyrex with the octopus. Set aside.
- In a frying pan, add 1 cup of olive oil, one onion cut up into squares, one green pepper cut up into squares, one red pepper cut up into squares, 3 garlic cloves cut in half, crushed red pepper flakes to taste. Fry until onions are slightly golden.
- Pour fried misture into the Pyrex over the potatoes and octopus. Sprinkle olive oil over it. Place in the oven at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.
