- Add chopped tomatoes and salt and cook till the tomatoes are a little mushy. Add some water to it and keep it aside to cool.

- In a deep pan take some oil and heat it. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, Ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
- Add the onion tomato paste that we grinded. Add all the other powdered spices. Add salt and sugar as per taste and cook for approximately 5 mins.
- Add some diced capsicum and onion petals and cook for a minute. Now add the paneer pieces and cook for 3-4 mins.
- Add Garam masala, kasuri Methi and mix. Lower the flame and add the fresh cream.
- Add the coriander leaves and mix well.
- Smoke the dish with a charcoal and ghee (as shown in the image) and keep it covered for 10-15 mins.
- Serve it with rice or chapati.
