  1. Get 5 tbsp Oil
  2. Prepare 1 tbsp jeera

  13. Take 1/2 tsp Coriander powder

  15. Get 1 & 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  16. Take as per taste Salt
  17. Make ready 1/2 tbsp Garam masala
  18. Take 1 tsp Kasuri meethi
  19. Get 1 tbsp Paneer masala
  20. Get 3 tbsp Butter
  21. Prepare 250 grams paneer cut into cubes
  22. Take 1/4 th cup cream
  23. Prepare as required coriander leaves

Steps to make Shahi paneer:
  1. Take a pan add 1 tbsp oil add paneer cubes and saute for 2 3 mins till paneer becomes light brown. Keep aside.
  2. For the gravy:-Take a pan add 2 tbsp oil add, cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves saute for 1 min. Add onion and cook it for 5 min. Now add ginger garlic paste and cashew nuts. Mix and cook for 2 mins. Now add tomatoes and salt as per your taste. Cook until the tomatoes are mushy. Further add turmeric powder, coriander powder, 1/2tbsp red chilli powder mix well and cook for 3 4 min, cool down to room temperature and transfer it to a grinding jar to grind a smooth paste.
  3. Set a pan on medium heat add oil plus butter,add ginger crushed saute for a min further add grind gravy, add 1 tbsp red chilli powder,garam masala, panner masala & salt as per your taste.Mix well, add cream & a pinch of red food colour, cook for 1 to 2 min.
  4. If you think that gravy is thick you can add a little bit of water. Add paneer cubes and mix well without breaking it and crushed the Kasuri meethi and cook for 3 to 4 min and your shahi paneer is ready to serve. Garnish with pour cream and Coriander leaves.
  5. Serve it with naan.
