  6. Prepare 20 g sunflower seeds
  7. Prepare handful raisins

Melt together margarine, peanut butter and honey. Add oatmeal and toss to coat completely. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the dry ingredients, stirring with a wooden spoon until evenly coated - the overall granola mixture won't be overly wet once combined so don't fret. Spread the granola into an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  1. Warm the peanut butter, honey and oil in a pan on a low heat. When melted, stir in the vanilla extract. Preheat the oven to 150C/Gas 3.
  2. Mix the oats and sunflower seeds into the peanut butter mixture and stir well until combined.
  3. Spread the granola on a baking tray lined with baking parchment and place in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and turn over the granola, return to the oven for another 5 minutes. Turn again, it may need another few minutes, or just place in the oven and turn it off.
  4. When golden all over remove from the oven and stir in a handful of raisins. Leave to cool completely on the tray before storing in an airtight container. Serve with ice cold milk.
