Instructions to make Peanut barfi:
  1. Roast peanut and remove the cover and blend it, make fine powder. sieve the peanut powder before adding to avoid any pieces of peanut.
  2. In a pan add sugar and water make sugar syrup on medium flame, stir and boil on medium flame till you reach on string consistency.
  3. Now add in powdered peanut powder and stir continuously on low flame, the mixture forms a paste and start to thicken. - Once the mixture separates from pan and add ghee or butter.
  4. Mix well till the mixture forms a thick paste. - Switch off the flame and grease the butter paper with ghee and transfer the peanut dough on to the butter paper.
  5. Allow it to cool 5 to 10 minutes. - grease your hand with little ghee and knead 30 seconds. be careful as the dough will be very hot.
  6. Once you get smooth dough, cover with butter paper and roll slightly thick and live it for 4 to 5 hour or it’s completely cool. - After that cut the dough into diamond shape or any shape.

I just love them having after my food. So today I am going to share no milk sweet that is peanut barfi recipe which is absolutely perfect to stop craving of sweets.
