This is no ordinary spaghetti bolognese - this is my very own Grandmother's Chinese inspired spaghetti recipe. Growing up, the closest experience I had to eating that classic spaghetti bolognese was at Pizza Hut or at a friend's homes. We Aussies have a thing about shortening words. Instructions to make Chinese Bolognese:
  1. Fry onions and garlic in little oil
  2. Add mince to browned onions and brown
  3. Add mushrooms and broccoli
  4. Stir sauce ingredients in a mug. Soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster, pepper, cornflour etc. Start with cornflour and stir to smooth paste then fill cup with water. Add this to your pan when mushrooms and brocolli have softened
  5. Drop noodles into boiling water stir until loosened. Decant into a sieve and rinse with cold water. Drain excess water. Fry noodles in small batches in alot of very hot oil. Drain to remove excess oil
  6. Serve the bolognese over the crispy noodles. Add soy sauce / chilli oil to taste
