- Next day keep a thick bottom pot on low flame add water 1:8 ratio for 2 cups add 16 cups water and let it boil. Once the water started boiling add sesame seeds, chillie flakes and salt. Now add jowar flour batter with the very small flow, no lumps should form. Keep mixing otherwise it will stick to the bottom.
- It takes around 20-25 minutes for cooking. It will become transparent when been cooked.it's ready to eat. sprinkle some chillie powder while serving.
Broken jowar or the jowar rava is available in the super markets and can be used to make upma, pulao or porridge. The recipe i am sharing here uses whole jowar to make upma.
