Combine peach juice with sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Add peaches, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Lightly roll out each pastry sheet on floured. These Easy Peach Turnovers use frozen puff pastry with a cream cheese and peach preserve filling to create a delicious treat for breakfast or dessert.

Steps to make Peach Turnover:
  1. Lets begin with the yummy stuffing - peel, core and slice the peaches into approximately 1 inch pieces. In a small pan, mix the water, sugar, lemon juice and the peaches. Bring it to a boil and let the sugar get dissolved. Cook this for a few more minutes, but remember… don't let the peaches get mushy!
  2. Once done, turn off the heat, and add the cardamom powder. Give it a quick stir and set aside to cool. Turn the oven to 200C. Take a sheet of the store bought pastry and cut into squares - I got 4 squares out of one sheet. Divide the peach filling into each of these squares and place them in the middle
  3. Brush the edges of each square with the egg mixture. Fold each of the squares over to create triangles. Press the edges down and seal with your fingers or a fork. The fork makes the edges look pretty :)
  4. Use a pastry brush and brush the egg mixture on top of the turnovers. Sprinkle the demura sugar on top. Bake until the turnovers get a nice golden color
  5. Let it cool for 10mins and serve. Your Peach Turnovers can be served warm or cooled

The prep time is minimal but the results are fantastic! Once you make these Peach Turnovers and see just how easy they are to put together, they will become your go-to breakfast-to-impress.
