- Heat oil in a wok.Fry chopped coconut.Set aside.Then fry the semi cooked papaya and potato smearing little salt.Add a bay leaf and add ginger paste.Fry and add turmeric,red chilli powder,cumin powder,salt and sugar to taste.Add the fried papaya, potato,grated coconut and toss.
- Add the reserved stock and if needed add some more water and cook for 2 minutes.Sprinkle garam masala and ghee.Serve healthy and nutritious Peper Dalna with steamed rice or any Indian flat bread.
