The ingredients needed to make Samosa:
  1. Make ready All purpose flour
  2. Get Warm water
  3. Take Salt
  4. Take Cooking oil

In a medium bowl, mix flour, salt and butter until the mixture resembles fine bread crumbs. Samosa is an amazing and mouthwatering Indian appetizer made with a spiced potatoes filling. Steps to make Samosa:
  1. Put flour and salt in a bowl and mix it using the hand. Add warm water and knead carefully.
  2. Divide your dough into small ball like portions. Roll each portion slightly, apply oil at the top and put the next one at the top of the other. (this easens work in that you can roll all of them once) Roll them carefully till they become light. Heat them in a pan.
  3. Form a sticky mixture of flour and water that will hold the pockets together when folding (the mixture should be thick)
  4. Cut your portion into this shape first. Fold one side to the middle apply the sticky paste at the top fold the other side too so that its hold by the paste applied
  5. The pockets are ready. You can choose what to put in and later on close the upper part using the paste too… then deep fry them and enjoy with chai fupi πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Beef and potatoes are the main ingredients folded inside these wonderful deep fried samosas. Chicken livers may be substituted for beef, if you choose. My friend from Bangladesh gave me this savory, spicy recipe. Samosa or Singhara as it is called in Bengal and Bihar is a delicious Indian snack that is a universal favourite. A perfect samosa has a crisp exterior made of flour and savory potato filling inside.
