- Prepare 1 onion

Peri-Peri (or Piri-Piri) is a spicy, garlicky, chili-based sauce, Portuguese in origin, but popular in Africa and, now, all over the world. Instructions to make Peri Peri Rice:
- Wash rice with drinking water add required water and salt and cook completely. Keep it aside.

- Now chopped remaining 1/2 onion julienne slices and chop finely 1 tomato.
- Keep one kadhai on flame add 1 tablespoon oil and 2 tablespoon butter let it heat for a minute now add cumin seeds and chopped julienne onion saute till onion turns pink now add prepared peri peri sauce, sugar and 1/4 cup water let it cook till water evaporates.
- Now add cooked rice little by little at a time and mix well adjust salt if required cover the pan and cook for 5 minute. Sprinkle coriander and add 2 tablespoons butter on top. Hot peri peri rice is ready to serve.
Added chopped red chilli and Cayenne pepper to the rice in addition, based on previous reviews of this being bland, and it turned out really well. Meanwhile, heat a pan and add PERi-PERi sauce, soy sauce, sesame seeds and brown sugar. Once the sugar is dissolved add the chicken until cooked through. Heat the oil and butter, add the onions and fry until translucent. Then add the garlic followed by the chopped green pepper.
