- When the mixture changes colour to light golden brown(that means sugar caramelizes), transfer the mixture to the firni immediately.
- Give phirni a good mix and remove from heat to cool down.
- When quinoa firni cools down to room temperature, add whipped cream.
- Also add in crushed nuts. I have only walnuts in my pantry. So I used them, you can add in any nuts of your choice.
- Mix them nicely so that cream incorporates to firni. Transfer to a serving bowl and keep in the refrigerator to chill. You can also serve them in room temperature.
